Refund Policy

What qualifies for an automatic refund

• Technical failure. The paid tabs genuinely don't work for you. Licence validation fails, the Report won't download, calculations show NaN. We'll try to help first; if we can't fix it within 48 hours, we refund in full.
• Accidental duplicate purchase. You bought twice by mistake. We refund the second charge.
• Unauthorised charge. Someone else used your card. Contact your bank and us; we'll work it out via LemonSqueezy.

What doesn't automatically qualify

The Your tower and Pump & reservoir tabs are fully usable before purchase. You can verify the pump head-loss math, reservoir sizing, and schematic visualisation work correctly for your tower before committing to the paid tabs.

• "The recommended pump turned out to be wrong for my microclimate."
• "My yield estimate was higher than my real harvest." (Yields vary: soil, light, water quality, pests.)
• "I changed my mind a week later."

That said, we're people. If something is genuinely off, email us and explain. We'd rather refund a grumpy customer than keep the $34.99.

How to request a refund

1. Email urbanroot.contact@gmail.com with your order number (from your LemonSqueezy receipt) and a short note on what went wrong.
2. We'll confirm receipt within one business day.
3. Once approved, the refund is processed by LemonSqueezy. It usually shows up on your card in 3–10 business days, depending on your bank.
4. Once a refund is issued, your licence key is deactivated and you lose access to the paid tabs. The free tabs (Your tower + Pump & reservoir) keep working for everyone.

Chargebacks

Please email us before filing a chargeback with your bank. A chargeback costs Urban Root about $20 in bank fees regardless of outcome, on top of refunding the $34.99. Most issues can be fixed in a day by email.
